When filming we decided to go for the swing which made the most noise, as the creaking swing made it sound more frightening than if she was swinging on a silent swing. we tried filming it from two different angles, we chose the uneven angle as that angle created more uncertainty than the straight angle.
When filming our character walk up the hill, we had a choice between a straight hill or a curved one. we filmed using both and when we edit are film we will decide which one looks more effective and which one we can work with.
We had to overcome the fact that the park was being used by other people not just us, so when i was walking up the hill people were kind enough to wait for Joe to stop filming before they walked pass, just incase they got into shot.
We then decided to film are title sequence. we cut out are names from colored paper and stuck them around the park, i put mine on some graffiti and it stuck out really well, Joe put his on the swings and Charlotte put hers on the climbing frame.
We then filmed the title of are Film, we decided to name are film 'The Ragdoll' We drew a small hopscotch on the ground and in the boxes instead of writing the numbers we stuck the letter in. we then placed the doll by the hopscotch my shoes and the bottom and the chalk used to draw the hopscotch at the top. We put my shoes at the bottom to make it look like someone was there about to use the hopscotch, we used my shoes because i wore them while filming the park scene.
